Innovation Award

This award celebrates new ideas, processes, products, services, technologies, and applications that have the greatest impact on an organisation’s success. This Award will recognise the business that has most successfully applied innovation to their organisation.
This Award is open to businesses that can demonstrate how they have improved business results and financial performance through innovation.
Judges will look for evidence of how innovation has been developed and applied to deliver improvements in business processes or the development of new products or services.
Applications should demonstrate how an innovation or innovative approach has:
- Contributed to significant growth
- Created competitive advantage
- Increased market share or customer engagement
- Improved capability in the workforce
- Helped staff deliver better customer service
- Improved overall financial performance
- Actual or anticipated gross or net profit increases
Business persons can put themselves forward, or be nominated by another person.
This is a written submission award. Please submit your application form on our online entry platform no later than 5pm Monday 23rd January 2023. Please use the button below to access the application site.
Stage 1 of the judging process will be to shortlist submissions based on the criteria above. Shortlisted finalists will be notified by Wednesday 1st February 2023 and will be invited to take part in Stage 2 of the judging process. Please note that if an applicant is shortlisted for this stage, they must be available to attend a 15-minute Zoom interview/presentation with the judging panel on Wednesday 8th February. The panel will then rank the shortlist based on the interview. If you have entered the Best Licensed Eating Establishment Award or Best Non-Licensed Eating Establishment Award, stage 2 of the judging process will be a mystery shopping visit and you will not be required to attend an interview.
